picture editing

Picture editing can be done using picasa.  Picasa is user friendly. It is possible to resize photos for internet use. Pictures are convented to grey scale in order to evoke sympathy from  an audience. Pictures in grey scale are good as they do not distruct  a reader.
Having looked at this, as a Citizen Journalist will use more pictures in grey scale so that I add more impact to my stories.
Brett's afternoon session took us into news gathering techniques. It was interesting to learn the variuos views people have on  issues of concern. The one i found most interesting was a concern aired by a taxi driver. He said he steals from his employer in order to make ends meet.
