Is Uganda Taking The Zimbabwe Direction?

in

Though Uganda is politically stable, the way things are changing day after day i can see it becoming another Zimbabwe economically in the near future my assumption is best on the following:-
A lot of items have had there prices go up to almost twice the original costs from the time kenya went for elections last year. Fuel prices went up sparking off every thing up to now. The cost of petrol went from 1700/= to 2500/= food items also hard there prices rised e.g 1 kilo of rice went from 1300/= to 2200, maize flour from 400/= a kilo to 1200/= Bread a 1 kilo loaf from 1400/= to 2400/= and transporters also had there way of doing things, a distance which used to cost 2500/= now costs 4000/= at times 5000/=.
My major wary is that it takes an average employee more than five years to get his or her salary increased be it a government or private sector employee, and these saralies are in the range of as low as 35,000/= par month and 200,000/= for the private sector and 130,000/= and 300,000/= for government employees.
I do not know how far this can push an ordinary person with a family of at list three children and a wife with this situation of no drugs in the hospital and the nobody cares attitude of the government of Uganda.

As if that is not enough things are still having prices go up each day  such that you can't know what the next day will be like, it is high time Government starts thinking about its people in particular the lower class because the upper class is already very very... rich.
