It is amazing how technology has evolved from the mainstream media to digital technology “new media”
 

THE 2009 HIGH WAY CONFERENCE brings with it a package of new technologies that would reliably transform media approaches in Africa and the world over. Mobile phones, computer are easy examples of new media technologies.
 

I find it challenging in the first place for people in the remotest parts of many countries were mobile phones are still a pipedream. The other challenge that I am expecting from the presenters is how we are going to develop software that will be user friendly to those that are differently abled. For example; how do we transform brail into a digital media tool so that everyone is covered?
