It was on my shock this morning to hear that a baby was stollen in the hospital from the mother after she gave birth to twins.

A blind woman gave birth to twins through operation in one of hospitals here in Tanzania. According to this woman she said, she remember hearing a doctor congratulating her for giving birth to twins. After three days a nurse came to see her and told her that she gave birth to one kid she was shocked because even oter women in the hospital saw her with two babies. She was really schoked and try to locate the doctor who operated her but she could not see him.

She later went home and came back to the hospital trying to locate her baby, following the procedure of firstly going to the registry she was schoked to be told that there are no records of her or the baby in the registry.

Now this woman is speaking on public of what had happened to her i am wondering how many women had ever came across this issue but never get a chance to go public on their problem.Does this mean that Tanzania hospitals are not safe anymore to mother and her child?

We do not need security in the hospital but government has to step up help this woman locate her baby and provide security to other women especially those whom can not afford to pay for private hospitals.
