In Mugema zone Kasubi Parish Kampala District, the area was shattered by cries from a woman who was attacked and beaten to almost death because of cohabiting and sharing a husband on the morning of Sunday 21st June 2009.
At around 10 o’clock in the morning of Sunday Nantaale (Not a real name) who lives in the Mugema zone - the suburbs of Kampala shared a husband and after her colleague realized this she waited for the time to come for her to revenge to such an act.
Mr. Musoke (not real name). traveled over the weekend to the village on private business and to check on her property in the village like any responsible husband would do. He was only amazed when he was followed by urgent phone call from his friend to come and secure the situation.
Nakayima (not real name) who has been tip-toeing her husband for a quite sometime realized that Musoke was cohabiting Nantale in the neighborhood and when she realized that her husband was distant away, she was determined to attack and finish her life off, so that she enjoys a happy marriage.
In the struggle to accomplish her mission, she was surprised when she was overpowered by Nantale, and the only alternative left was for her to hire commonly known as (aba Cuba) or the (Kanyamas) strong energetic young men to assist her in her mission with a promise to pay a fee.
Nantale was unconsciously beaten to death and was only assisted by the neighbors who raised an alarm for the Police to intervene. Nantale was unconscious was rushed to the neighboring hospital by good Samaritans in a vehicle to safe her life.
As we write the story her condition is pathetic, and one of the Kanyamas was arrested while the second one took off not to be seen again in the vicinity. For this kind of violence we only wait for fair judgment from the Uganda Police of Kawala station, where he was arrested. In the same village some years back a wife dead after she with acid burned by unknown people, living behind young ones, who live with their father.
