Controlling Traffic in Kampala

It’s a job done by many traffic officers whom every person can observe the great job done either in the morning or evening hours. Conducting vehicles isn’t a simple task somebody can joke with because it’s determination and hard work.

Most of the drivers are problematic depending of different programs. As you know in morning hours roads are very busy I.e. children are going to school, people moving to places of work and businessmen are chasing their deals. So at the end of the day a person finds himself disobeying the traffic laws not intentionally but conditions force him.

But if we flash back to 70s (seventies) it wasn’t like this but since development is up coming this is a sign. On the other hand a problem because everybody would like to drive him/herself which causes too much congestion in the city.       

Most stubborn ones are the taxis men everyone wants to go at the same time hence having no patience at all.

Radio stations are also in the process during mooning hours informing people were to defeat this jam on certain roads. My advise always listen to radio stations so that you are guided where to pass. And be an hour early to where you are needed depending on the road you use since you know how much time you always spend in jam.

Accidents are every where you go why? Because of mostly drunkard and Marijuana smoke drivers. We have lost a lot of relatives and friends so please if driving take care and mind other people as you do to yourself.
