Geographical Focus:
Isis-WICCE operates primarily in Africa. However, the organization maintains an international perspective and presence in its operations. Isis-WICCE’s activities are mainly run in response to four international frameworks namely: the 1993 Vienna Declaration and Programme of Action, CEDAW, the Beijing Declaration and Platform of Action and UNSCR 1325 on Women, Peace and Security of 2000. However, Isis-WICCE keeps track on new international frameworks that are put in place that relate to its focus.

-Information and Communication
Target Group:
Women leaders, Policy Makers, Researchers, Women Survivors of armed conflcits, National Gender Machinaries and Women groups.
Overview of the organization
Mission and objectives:
Isis-WICCE’s mission is to promote justice and empowerment of women through investigating and documenting women’s realities and facilitating the exchange of skills and information to strengthen women’s capacities, potential and visibility.
The organization’s overall goal is to create a vanguard of women with the capacity to participate in processes that influence redress, and policies on women’s human rights, peace and human security.
