Digital citizen Indaba theme this year brings together professional journalist and citizen journalists to build citizen skills to use new media.

These skills will empower community to give out their views and allow issues that is marginalised within mainstream media to be brought to the force. Issues such as poverty, corruption, environment, investment etc. 

Also citizen will be able to bring more personal perspective on what is happening within their own communities. Let us join this DCI year theme “Digital Civil Society and Journalism in Africa".
