I guess people thought the cases in courts for albino killing in Tanzania were over and nothing could be done to the killers. Well to their suprised, three men have been sentence to death by handing after they were foung guilty for attacking and killing a 14 years old boy names Matatizo Dunia in Bukombe District last year December. Witchdoctors use their body parts in potions they claim bring prosperity.

No ordinary Zambian can argue that our country’s suffering is not largely due to the plundering of our resources by our leaders. One has just to look at how the life styles of individuals and their immediate families change after they join politics. Justice is not being served in our nation. We just heard of similar cases in UK of British MPs who were abusing parliamentary privileges.

A murder case of three business men (claimed to be thieves) who were killed three years ago came to an end yesterday leaving Tanzanians with alot of questions with no answers. Nine Polices officers were accused of killing three businessmen in Tanzania. This case had been going on for three years and yesterday the accused were set free as the court could not find any allegation on them.

Zambia’s second republican President Fredrick Chiluba has been acquitted of all corruption charges leveled against him. Dr.Chiluba and two others were accused of embezzling $500,000 during his tenure as President from 1991 to 2001, but Ndola High Court Registrar Jones Chinyama sitting as Magistrate ruled that the funds could not be traced to government coffers.

The paper is very unpopular amongst corrupt leader and those who do not appreciate transparency and value the importance of freedom of information.

LUSAKA— The Netherlands and Sweden have frozen $33 million in aid for Zambia's fight against HIV/AIDS and other health programmes because of official corruption, ministers said on Thursday. The decision was made after it emerged that senior health ministry officials had stolen $2 million.

The GALZ Bulawayo Offices were broken into last Thursday night and the armed burglars left the guard manning the property battling for his life before getting away with a Samsung HD TV .
The offices are situated in Northend a low density suburb have become a target of these criminals. This is the second time in six months that such an incident has occurred.
